
2nd Reflection, Basic Literacy and Inclusive Education IKM
The 2nd Reflection Activity on Strengthening the Capacity of Supervisors on the Implementation of the Independent Curriculum (IKM), Basic Literacy and Inclusive Education is a partnership program with INOVASI, which took place on Saturday (29/4/2023) at the Harapan Keluarga Nusantara Foundation. A total of 27 (M: 19 / F: 8) participants attended this activity, consisting of elements of the Ministry of Religion, Supervisors, Unit Heads, Head of Elementary School Division, lecturers and the Hamzanwadi University grant team. This activity was filled with many discussion sessions discussing the feelings of supervisors, principals, and teachers when the IKM program was mentored, the strengths and weaknesses of the program and the follow-up to the program. Several supervisors' presentations related to IKM mentoring, namely the advantages of the IKM basic literacy and inclusive education program are that students' abilities can be found according to their categories, and the shortcomings are that the facilities and infrastructure to provide services for children with special needs are still very limited, so it is hoped that this activity will continue, one of which is by improving the human resources of teachers to handle children with special needs through mentoring from Hamzanwadi University, namely from volunteers from the Disability Service Center (PLD). In general, the principal and teachers were very happy with the Basic Literacy and Inclusive Education IKM program, because they felt helped in determining students' abilities and how to handle them as one of the follow-ups to "the results of recommendations from the initial assessment and identification of functional learning difficulties of students using kobotoolbox have been carried out by one of the teachers at SDN 1 Sekaroh, and the results are quite satisfactory", said Mahyun. This activity was opened by the Head of Elementary School Izzudin, in his introduction Izzudin said that the basic literacy and inclusive education IKM program had a very positive impact on the progress of education in East Lombok, it is hoped that with this basic literacy and inclusive education IKM program it can overcome the functional learning difficulties found, the most common functional learning difficulties found from 30 target schools are cognitive; 26%, reading; 26%, and attention; 18%.
