Saturday, February 22, 2025. The orientation activities for new students of the Hamzanwadi University Postgraduate Program took place for 2 days starting from Friday, February 21, 2025 to Saturday, February 22, 2025. This activity was attended by 42 new students spread across 2 study programs, namely Masters in Elementary Education and Masters in Educational Management. Most of the new students this time came from Central Lombok and East Lombok with jobs as teachers, principals and supervisors. The Director of the Hamzanwadi University Postgraduate Program, Dr. Padlurrahman, M.Pd. in his speech stated that learning is very important for all of us. Learning is not limited by age, not limited by time and not even limited by place. We can learn anytime and anywhere, at any age we are required to always learn either through formal or non-formal channels or even study independently. Therefore, I am very grateful that you who are present and join the Hamzanwadi University Postgraduate Program still have high spirits to want to learn and improve your qualifications and competencies, he added. The Director of Postgraduate who is also the Director of LP3M Hamzanwadi University also appreciated the performance of the coordinator of the Elementary Education Masters study program Dr. H. Badarudin, M.Pd. and the Coordinator of the Educational Management Masters study program for their performance in accepting new students every semester so that the number of Postgraduate students can reach 475 people since this postgraduate program began accepting students in February 2019. We will continue to strive to always improve the quality of our services to students with the motto "Professional and Humanist", where all our duties and functions must be carried out well, with full responsibility, hard work and also stick to the efforts to achieve the targets that we have set. In addition, the services we provide to students must be based on sincerity, patience and sincerity so that the principle of mutual respect, mutual appreciation, mutual assistance, mutual guidance and even concern between us can be realized. This is what we call "Humanist". The word humanist does not mean justifying various means because it is based on pity or perhaps taking everything lightly so that you do not want to try your best as interpreted by others, but the word humanist in the Hamzanwadi Postgraduate Program is a strong foundation in building conducive and solution-oriented communication and collaboration. And Alhamdulillah with this Humanist word, students feel happy and remain enthusiastic about learning and no one is afraid to meet their lecturers or even meet the study program coordinator and Director, he said. This orientation activity went smoothly with several materials, namely: academic, financial, and student policies delivered by the vice chancellors. Continued with the policy of Hamzanwadi University Postgraduate delivered by the Director and other special materials such as scientific writing, iosys applications and e-learning, curriculum and study program services and materials from the management of HMPPS and HMPS.
