
Bank Indonesia Holds First Campus BINGO at Hamzanwadi University
Selong- Bank Indonesia held the first offline BINGO (Bank Indonesia Chatting with the Community) Campus event in 2022 at Hamzanwadi University, Thursday morning (21/7). Campus BINGO is one of the series to enliven Indonesia's G-20 presidency. In addition, the event also aims to increase literacy of the younger generation regarding the duties, functions, and policies of the central bank, as well as to invite the younger generation to participate in helping the national economic recovery (PEN), especially in digital economic activities. The Campus BINGO event collaborates with various universities throughout Indonesia and Hamzanwadi University was selected as the first location visited by Bank Indonesia.
Present at the event, Vice Chancellor 1 of Hamzanwadi University, Dr. H. Khirjan Nahdi, M.Hum., Vice Chancellor 2 of Hamzanwadi University, Hj. Dukha Yunitasari, M.Pd., Deputy Head of the NTB Bank Indonesia Representative Office, Akmaludin Suangkupo, Assistant Director of the BI Communication Department, Silvia Sri Mustika. Participants were very enthusiastic in attending the 2022 Campus BINGO event, reaching 500 participants consisting of students, pupils, and the general public.
Campus BINGO 2022 raised the theme "Optimizing Social Life with Digital Payments" which focused on discussing digital payments, especially using QRIS (Quick Response Code Indonesian Standard) which is an official digital payment system issued by BI. One of the series of events was a talk show filled by; Jehian PS, CEO of Menantea & President Director of Mantappu Corp., Rizky Reflizar, BI Digital Payment System Manager, and Antony Hidayatullah, GenBI NTB Representative.
