EAST JAVA - Hamzanwadi University conducted benchmarking and signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the University of Muhammadiyah Malang (UMM). The MoU is in order to strengthen the postgraduate program and the Independent Learning Independent Campus (MBKM).

Through this collaboration, Hamzanwadi University and UMM are committed to supporting each other in developing innovative, research-based postgraduate programs that are in accordance with the demands of the global job market.

"The strategic breakthrough by signing this MoU aims to strengthen the postgraduate program and support the implementation of the Independent Learning Independent Campus (MBKM)," said Hamzanwadi University Chancellor Dr. Hj Sitti Rohmi Djalilah, Sunday (11/19/2023).

In the event which took place offline, the Chancellor of Hamzanwadi University together with the Chancellor of the University of Muhammadiyah Malang signed an agreement that will open up opportunities for broad collaboration between the two institutions.

This MoU affirms a shared commitment to improving the quality and relevance of postgraduate programs, expanding access to education for students, and developing the MBKM concept that allows students to have diverse and open learning experiences.

In the agreement, the two universities agreed to conduct benchmarking activities to exchange experiences and best practices in developing quality postgraduate programs and realizing the inclusive MBKM concept.

The former Deputy Governor of NTB emphasized that his party believes this collaboration will bring great benefits to both institutions in providing quality education that is relevant to the demands of the times.

This collaboration is expected to not only improve the quality of higher education at both universities but also open up opportunities for students to develop further through more structured postgraduate programs and support for the inclusive and empowering MBKM concept.

"This MoU is not just a formal agreement, but a commitment to support and inspire each other in creating a superior and highly competitive generation through quality postgraduate programs," he said.
