EAST LOMBOK - Hamzanwadi University is perched in position 97 as the best university in Indonesia according to UniRank 2023. Meanwhile, in NTB, Hamzanwadi University is still in position 2 after Mataram State University.

Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs of Hamzanwadi University Dr. Abdullah Muzakar said this achievement would strengthen the university's commitment to providing quality and sustainable education to students.

Interestingly, said Muzakar, although the predicate in NTB is currently the same as the previous year, it has risen to position 97 nationally, which is quite proud because it is included in the top 100 national ranks.

"Therefore, currently the campus continues to strive to improve quality in various aspects to be more competitive in accordance with the demands of the current era," said Abdullah Muzakar, Friday (08/25/2023).

Despite achieving the title of the best private campus in NTB, his party admitted that there are still things that need to be completed and improved in order to be able to survive and even improve the position achieved now. "We also did not expect this title," he said.

He further emphasized that the era of globalization and increasingly tight competition has made universities have to continue to improve their quality because they are faced with the reality of world progress that changes all the time.

Moreover, with a good ranking on a national and regional scale at this time, Hamzanwadi University has been present offering an attractive academic environment, modern facilities, and quality study programs with various disciplines, ranging from social sciences, exact sciences to technology.

"We must continue to strive to become the best campus and become a world-class competitive campus. Because of this, we encourage all parties in management to carry out the best innovations that can make the campus's name famous," he hoped.

Meanwhile, the Director of Cooperation and Public Relations Dr. Muhammad Halqi added that to support and maintain all these achievements, his party continues to strengthen its network with various parties, both domestic and foreign.

"Because as one of the indicators to achieve the predicate and become a world-class campus, we must build cooperation with international class campuses and institutions. That is why our team continues to build and strengthen the network," he explained.

He hopes that in the future all parties who have collaborated can contribute to the progress of both institutions. All networks that have been built can survive and can be expanded to provide benefits to many parties. "Because that is our hope," he concluded.
