Mataram – Implementation of the Independent Learning Independent Campus (MBKM) to support the independent campus policy, LLDikti Region VIII held a socialization activity for the implementation of MBKM at Private Universities in West Nusa Tenggara within the LLDikti Region VIII environment on Tuesday, May 30, 2023 at the Prime Park Hotel Lombok NTB. This activity was carried out for one day involving 53 Private Universities in West Nusa Tenggara. This event presented speakers Dr. Ir. Sri Gunani Sudiartha Partiwi, M.T. (Acting Director of Learning and Student Affairs), Heru Wijayanto Aripradono (Manager of Independent Independent Campus), and Muhammad Sururuddin, M.Pd (Good Practices of Independent Campus) who also serves as Dean of the Faculty of Education, Hamzanwadi University. Independent Campus Manager Heru Wijayanto Aripradono explained the reasons why MBKM needs to be implemented, that students can learn not only in the general lecture process but also through internship programs, assistance or carrying out humanitarian or research projects.

On this occasion, Hamzanwadi University was given the opportunity to share good practices in implementing MBKM which were conveyed by Muhammad Sururuddin, M.Pd. Hamzanwadi University was chosen because the implementation of MBKM, both flagship programs and independent programs, has made various achievements. In addition, Hamzanwadi University has received various Ministry grants such as KSK MBKM, PKKM Affirmation, Higher Education Curriculum and Learning Development Acceleration Program, and PKKM since 2020 to 2023.

Muhammad Sururuddin invited all PTS in West Nusa Tenggara to collaborate and carry out MBKM with the aim of providing experience and improving student competence by encouraging autonomous and flexible learning. "The implementation of MBKM in PTS needs to be built with coordination, commitment, and collaboration with various parties or with the Business World or Industrial World and given freedom for students in choosing MBKM programs to increase their competence and experience," concluded the Dean of FIP at the socialization event for the implementation of MBKM in PTS NTB.
