SELONG - As an annual event, "Bhakti Untuk Negeri 5 Tahun 2019", Hamzanwadi University together with all elements of the Hamzanwadi foundation, Thursday (12/19/2019) held a greening activity by planting 15 thousand tree seedlings.
The activity entitled "Hamzanwadi Go Green 2019" was attended by thousands of elements of the Hamzanwadi foundation, ranging from lecturers, employees, teachers, foundation administrators, Hamzanwadi students, Islamic boarding school students, Islamic boarding school students and residents in the Hamzanwadi foundation environment.
This planting activity was coordinated directly by the Student Achievement Development Unit, biology garden, University BEM, Faculty BEM and all HMPS administrators throughout Hamzanwadi University.

On that occasion, Vice Chancellor 1, Dr. H. Khirjan Nahdi, M.Hum, in his speech said that this planting activity was part of the Hamzanwadi foundation's concern in maintaining and greening the surrounding environment. This planting is also part of the initial steps in welcoming the rainy season at the end of 2019. "This planting is part of the initial steps and our concern for the current environmental conditions that are not well maintained," he said.
He revealed that the 15 thousand tree seedlings planted were part of the support and cooperation with the Environment and Forestry Service (DLHK). "The trees given consist of Trengbesi, Nangka, Srikaya, and Durian tree seedlings," he said.
In addition, students must play an active role in reforestation. "Concern is not only a handful of people, but the existence of students in the Hamzanwadi environment must synergize to maximize themselves to plant and care for the environment together," he continued. (Red/Ram)
