Efforts to Realize National Heroes Mini Museum, Team Conducts Coordination

Efforts to realize a Mini Museum at the TGKH National Heroes Cemetery Complex. Muhammad Zainuudin Abdul Madjid continue to be carried out. The Museum Team of the Hamzanwadi Education Foundation, Darunnahdlatain Islamic Boarding School (YPH PPD) NW Pancor continues to coordinate with the NTB State Museum. The Head of the YPH PPD NW Pancor Mini Museum Team, Dr. H Badaruddin said, to realize the mini museum, the NTB Museum has expressed its readiness to help provide space for National Heroes. "If this Mini Museum is realized, then our young generation today will not have difficulty tracing the struggles of our National Heroes and teachers," said Badaruddin in his release, Tuesday (01/19/2021). Many of the current generation do not know the struggles of heroes, especially heroes or fighters who sacrificed their lives to win the nation's independence, especially the Sasak fighters. Therefore, the existence of this mini museum in Pancor is very important. He also emphasized that there were many fighters in Lombok but were almost never known by many people, including fellow fighters of National Hero TGKH Muhammad Zainuddin Abdul Madjid who fought while seizing and fighting for independence. "One of them was his brother, TGH Muhammad Faisal Abdul Madjid along with his other fellow fighters. And that was the forerunner to the birth of the Heroes' Cemetery in Selong who at that time died because he was shot by the colonial troops at that time," said the Coordinator of the History Education Study Program at Hamzanwadi University. Therefore, he hopes that all parties will support the realization of the mini museum, both moral and material support, because the existence of this mini museum, in addition to being a reference for the future young generation, is also an icon and identity of East Lombok that makes us proud. "The important point in the context of tourism, in addition to being a tourism destination, is also a regional asset that can attract tourists for religious tourism. Hopefully this Mini Museum will be realized soon," he hoped.
