Hamzanwadi University is one of 6 Private Universities in NTB that will have a Halal Center for the process of managing halal certificates for UMK products and services in NTB. This activity was initiated by the UNU Halal Center together with the NTB Representative of Bank Indonesia. This agenda is intended to support the central government's program in order to achieve Mandatory Halal for all food and beverage products in October 2024.

Head of the Hamzanwadi University Halal Center Unit, Dr. Muhamad Ali, M.Si is optimistic that he can carry out the mandate that will be entrusted through the new Unit at Hamzanwadi University. Moreover, Hamzanwadi University, apart from having relatively many students, on the other hand, the organization under the auspices of Hamzanwadi University has many members who are engaged in the UMK sector, he said.
