Finalization of RPS, FIP Hamzanwadi University Inserts Inclusive Education Content in 4 Courses

The previous meeting of the curriculum review activity was carried out with the results of reviewing courses in each study program to be able to insert inclusive education content with the output in the form of a Semester Learning Plan (RPS), on Wednesday Hamzanwadi University (05/07/2023) conducted a curriculum review activity to finalize the RPS in the Hamzanwadi University Meeting Room involving the INOVASI partner team, study program coordinators and FIP lecturers, namely the Guidance and Counseling (BK) study program, Early Childhood Education Teacher Education (PAUD), Physical Education, Health and Recreation (Penjaskesrek), and Elementary School Teacher Education (PGSD), with a total of 20 participants (M: 13 / F: 7).

The curriculum review activity for the finalization of the RPS was opened by Vice Rector 1, Mr. Abdullah Muzakar, in his introduction he said "on this occasion, lecturers from 4 study programs at FIP ​​were gathered to align perceptions in inserting material on inclusive education in the RPS. Regarding inclusive education, it should have been raised to the University level, we can cross-check together whether there are Courses (MK) on inclusive education in other Faculties, because government policy regulations on schools should not reject children with special needs, the University should prepare educators who master and understand inclusive education", said Abdullah Muzakar.

In the RPS finalization activity, lecturers from 4 study programs have agreed on the MK that will be inserted with inclusive education content, namely the PGSD Study Program, Inclusive Education MK, Guidance Counseling Study Program, BK ABK MK, PG PAUD Study Program, ABK Education MK, and Penjaskesrek Study Program, Adaptive Penjas MK. Of the 4 MKs that have been determined, lecturers from each Study Program will finalize the RPS, it is hoped that this RPS can be implemented starting next semester.
