Hamzanwadi University BK Students Represent NTB in Making Short Videos for International Women's Day

Commemorating International Women's Day which is celebrated every year on March 8 to recognize the social, economic, cultural, and political achievements of women around the world. However, despite the progress made in recent years, women in many countries, including Indonesia, still face significant health and gender-based inequalities. with the aim of raising awareness about the importance of women's health and gender equality in Indonesia, and to highlight the work of women from diverse backgrounds and what health means to them.

This activity is organized by WHO Indonesia which works to address inequalities by promoting women's health and rights, and working with partners to advocate for gender equality. This year, WHO Indonesia created a collection of videos and photos highlighting the stories of women from various backgrounds who have made strides in improving accessibility to health care, fighting for women's rights and health, and overcoming barriers in their respective fields. The videos and photos take the theme "Celebrating International Women's Day: What Health Means to Women". Which involves:

1. Poppy Dihardjo, Jakarta - Domestic violence, violence against women,

2. digital campaign

3. Rully Malay, Yogyakarta – HIV, transgender, elderly.

4. Cucu Saidah, Bandung – Disability, female.

5. Minhatul Aulaq, Lombok – Child marriage, teenager.

6. Dr Maria Louisa Rumateray, Papua – Health for women, flying doctor.

Minhatul Aulaq is a second semester student in the Guidance and Counseling study program, Faculty of Education, Hamzanwadi University. She has the opportunity to represent the voice of women in NTB to voice women's rights and health and become the youngest delegate. "This activity is carried out to celebrate the achievements of women, raise awareness of equality for women, and as a forum to accelerate gender equality," said Mrs. Nia Rachmawati, a representative from WHO Indonesia.

The video and image capture was carried out in several places including: Jenggik Utara Village Hall, Montong Gading Health Center and Hamzanwadi University. This activity was carried out from 24 to 26 February 2023. The concept of taking videos and images consisted of: 1) The recording must capture the personality of each character in their space. Interview shots: close-up and medium shots, and the interaction of each character and their community; and 2) Recordings of optimistic faces of patients and health care workers.
