Hamzanwadi University Chancellor Receives Best Writer Award from National Library

Jakarta - Chancellor of Hamzanwadi University Dr. Hj. Sitti Rohmi Djalilah together with Dean of the Faculty of Health Dr. Hj. Hartini Haritani? received the award for best book writer from the National Library (Perpusnas) in the Stunting Category (Best 5).

The publication of the book is an output of the 2023 Research Grant from the Directorate of Research, Technology and Community Service (DRTPM) and was also written by the Coordinator of the Sociology Education Study Program (Prprodi) at Hamzanwadi University, M. Zainul Asror, MA.

"This award is a source of pride for Hamzanwadi University, which has been present to contribute to enlightening the generation regarding stunting which requires the attention of all parties to be addressed and prevented so that this nation's generation grows into a healthy generation," explained Rohmi Djalilah, Thursday (07/09/2023).

He said that this award was not only an individual achievement, but an achievement for Hamzanwadi University. This is part of the campus's efforts to emphasize its commitment to producing high-quality research and literature that has a positive impact on education and society at large.

He also saw the award given by the National Library to motivate and appreciate writers who have produced quality works and efforts to encourage publishers to carry out printing books that become reading material for the young generation who want to work.

"The title of the book "Integrated Posyandu Stunting Reduction Acceleration Assistance Model" presents information that stunting has become a serious concern in Indonesia, and this book provides in-depth insight into the issue," he explained.

This book not only focuses on the root of the problem, this book also tries to provide practical solutions and policy recommendations that can help overcome stunting and as evidence that universities have an important role in contributing knowledge and resources to improve community welfare.

"Hopefully this book will be a source of inspiration for health practitioners, policy makers, and the wider community in a joint effort to overcome the serious problems faced by Indonesian children in their growth and development," he said.
