Hamzanwadi University Conducts 3rd Reflection Activity
After last week providing assistance to principals and teachers on unit 3 "Inclusivity in Differentiated Learning", on Monday (05/06/2023) the 3rd reflection activity was carried out at the Harapan Keluarga Nusantara Foundation, Selong District.
The reflection activity was carried out to explore information on the achievements and obstacles found by supervisors and assistants when providing assistance at schools, as expressed by the Vice Chancellor 1 of Hamzanwadi University, Mr. Muzakar, in his introduction said "in this reflection activity, the findings and root of the problem can be conveyed, so that the problem can be fixed immediately and can become a good practice that has been carried out and can have an impact on other school institutions", said Muzakar.
The reflection activity is one of a series of activities at Hamzanwadi University as a partner of INOVASI. Through the reflection activity, supervisors who provide assistance at target schools convey the findings and obstacles they faced during the assistance. Some findings and obstacles conveyed by the supervisor during the mentoring included, the enthusiasm of the teachers was extraordinary, seen from the teachers' increasingly broad insight into inclusive education, but after mentoring unit 3, the supervisor could not immediately provide mentoring related to the implementation of the Individual Learning Program (PPI) because it was related to school assessment activities and the National Examination. The supervisor committed that the Hamzanwadi University partner program with INOVASI would definitely be implemented, but the concern was that it was necessary to think about the sustainability pattern of the program, to achieve the sustainability pattern of the program we need a joint commitment, especially in the procurement of Special Companion Teachers (GPK) as one of the facilities that must be met to support the smooth running of inclusive education in schools, said Mr. Jamaluddin. Procurement of school facilities and infrastructure to support the achievement of inclusive education requires funding, as expressed by the Head of East Lombok "for intervention of financing patterns for inclusive children, it is already in Dapodik, in government regulations there is already a policy for Special Companion Teachers in each school, with the continuation of the program, hopefully this is not just a regulation, but can be implemented in the procurement of Special Companion Teachers", said Hairurrazaq Hanafi.
