Tuesday, October 24, 2023 Hamzanwadi University inaugurated 329 In-Service and Pre-Service PPG participants in 2023. This inauguration was carried out as a sign of passing the PPG participants so that they obtain a teacher certificate as proof that a teacher has become a professional teacher. This inauguration activity was carried out at the Hj. Siti Rauhun Zainuddin Abdul Madjid Auditorium Building, Hamzanwadi University Rectorate. Also present at the PPG inauguration event were the Chairperson of the Hamzanwadi Education Foundation, Darunnadlatain NWDI Pancor Islamic Boarding School, Mr. H. Djamaluddin BE. M.Kom, and the Head of the Higher Education Service Institute for Region VIII (LLDIKTI VIII) Mr. Dr. I Gusti Bagus Lanang Eratodi, S.T., M.Kom.
The Chancellor of Hamzanwadi University, Dr. Ir. Hj. Sitti Rohmi Djalilah, M.Pd in ​​her inauguration speech said that today's teachers must have innovative and creative abilities and be technology literate. In addition, Sitti Rohmi also conveyed that teachers are a noble profession and make teachers our passion and teachers must be able to build a conducive and pleasant atmosphere at school so that children are happy to learn and the most important thing is not to be lazy to learn and improve competence. In addition, the most important thing is that Hamzanwadi University is committed to improving quality and with the assistance of LLDIKTI VIII, Hamzanwadi University can develop well.
Meanwhile, the Head of the Hamzanwadi Education Foundation, Darunndalatain NWDI Pancor Islamic Boarding School, Mr. H. Djamaluddin, BE. M.Kom said in his speech that teachers must always participate in education in our region. Indonesia has quite big challenges in producing quality graduates and being utilized in the world of work. In addition, Djamaluddin also said that teachers must be able to utilize technological developments to produce interesting learning for our students so that in the future teachers can produce learning modules, interesting learning media and utilize social media to develop learning skills.
Head of LLDIKTI Region VIII, Mr. Dr. I Gusti Bagus Lanang Eratodi, S.T., M.T said that in achieving the vision of a superior Indonesia, universities are the fastest to become stimulants towards a golden Indonesia. In addition, Bagus Lanang Eratodi also said that Hamzanwadi University as one of the universities must remain a university that always graduates quality graduates so that our human resources can continue to improve and based on appropriate standards. The implementation of this inauguration was carried out as one of the series of activities for the implementation of the Teacher Professional Education Program (PPG). Hamzanwadi University PPG implements 13 PPG Study Fields both in-service and pre-service including Economic Education, Sociology Education, History Education, Elementary School Teacher Education, Early Childhood Education Teacher Education, Physical Education, Health, and Recreation, Guidance and Counseling Education, Informatics Education, Mathematics Education, Physics Education, Biology Education, English Education, Indonesian Language Education.
