SELONG - Hamzanwadi University held a briefing for students participating in the Independent Campus Competition Program (PKKM) with 315 participants from various study programs, Friday (08/18/2023).

Study programs BK, PGPAUD, Penjaskesrek, Statistics, Pend. Physics, Mathematics Education, Informatics Education, Biology Education, History Education, Geography Education, Sociology Education, PBSI, PBI, Environmental Engineering, and Computer Engineering.

"The activity aims to prepare students to face national-level competitions held by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology," explained the Chairperson of the PKKM Hamzanwadi University, Dr. H. Edy Waluyo.

He emphasized that in this briefing, students were given intensive training that covered various aspects, such as improving academic competence, developing critical thinking skills, and in-depth understanding of the chosen field of study.

In addition, participants received guidance for compiling innovative project proposals that they would submit to the competition. Participants are also invited to understand the regulations governing this competition, so that they can participate with a clear understanding of what must be met.

With this provision, it is hoped that students will be more prepared and confident in facing the challenges of PKKM in order to produce positive contributions to the development of science and technology in Indonesia.

"Therefore, participants are invited to reflect on important issues related to their fields of study and identify relevant and valuable problems through in-depth analysis, intensive research that focuses on practical aspects," he concluded.
