Faculty of Social and Economic Sciences (FISE) Hamzanwadi University with the Faculty of Social, Law and Political Sciences (FISHIPOL) Yogyakarta State University (UNY) held a Public Lecture, Tuesday (08/06/2024).

The Public Lecture entitled Competency Development in Writing Scientific Papers and Publications was delivered by Dr. Agustina Tri Wijayanti, M.Pd as Secretary of the Department of Social Studies Education FISHIPOL UNY.

In addition, the two campuses signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) and Implementing Agreement (IA). This collaboration is expected to provide a positive contribution and provide wider benefits to the community.

The MoU file was signed by Deputy Chancellor 1 of Hamzanwadi University Dr. Abdullah Muzakar M.Si together with Dr. Sudrajat, M.Pd as Head of the Department of Social Studies Education FISHIPOL UNY while the IA file was signed by all FISE coordinators.

Vice Chancellor of Hamzanwadi University Dr. Abdullah Muzakar expressed his pride and happiness for this collaboration. The collaboration between the two campuses is a strategic step to improve the quality of education and research.

"Today, we are extending the collaboration that was previously established by UNY with Hamzanwadi University as university partners who help and collaborate with each other," said Muzakar.

According to him, this collaboration opens up great opportunities for students and lecturers to learn and develop. With the exchange of knowledge and experience, it can improve academic quality and broaden international horizons.

"This is a concrete step in creating synergy between universities to achieve common goals in the fields of education, social and others," said Muzakar.

The public lecture was interactive between the speakers and undergraduate students of Economic Education, Geography Education, Sociology Education and History Education of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Economics, Hamzanwadi University.

Present at the event, from Hamzanwadi University were Vice Rector 1, Dean of FISE, Deputy Dean of FISE, Coordinators of Study Programs throughout FISE and Lecturers representing each Study Program at FISE.

Meanwhile, from Yogyakarta State University, the Head of the Department of Social Studies Education, FISHIPOL, Secretary of the Department of Social Studies Education, FISHIPOL and 6 lecturers of Social Studies Education were present.
