In order to improve the quality of education, Hamzanwadi University continues to improve. On Saturday, December 24, 2022, this campus with the motto of excellence and competitive held a socialization and assistance in compiling study program (Prodi) accreditation forms.

Director of LP3M Hamzanwadi University Dr. Padlurrahman, M.Pd said that accreditation is an instrument in determining the determination of quality standards and assessment of higher education institutions (PT) and study programs.

"According to the mandate of Article 55 paragraph 4 of Law No. 12/2012 concerning PT, PT accreditation is carried out by BAN and Accreditation Program Studies as a form of public accountability from the Independent Education Accreditation Institution (LAMDIK)," he explained, Wednesday (12/27/2022).

He emphasized that the transfer of accreditation program studies from BAN-PT to LAMDIK was to improve the accreditation of study programs in the faculty of education, FIP Management together with LP3M Hamzanwadi University.

"So far we have held socialization and assistance in compiling accreditation forms that refer to the 9 study program accreditation criteria (APS) that must be met in accordance with the provisions of LAMDIk.

The event was attended by the Dean of the Faculty of Education, the Director of LP3M as a resource person, GKM FIP, Coordinator of Study Programs, and representatives of lecturers from each study program as the accreditation form compilation team.

"A similar meeting at the study program level will be held to accelerate the compilation and uploading of accreditation forms no later than September 2023. There are three study programs that will carry out reaccreditation, namely PGSD, PG-PAUD, and Penjaskesrek," he added.

The Dean of FIP Muhammad Sururuddin, M.Pd, conveyed the importance of socialization and assistance in compiling accreditation forms. This program is expected to provide an overview to study programs that will carry out reaccreditation in 2024.

"All parties are expected to collaborate and coordinate towards improving the quality of better and sustainable accreditation, considering the future task is heavier in compiling the accreditation form for 9 accreditation criteria," he added. According to him, this activity is a strategic step and a good initial step to prepare as early as possible by study programs that will carry out reaccreditation in 2024.
