SELONG - The Praya Tax Service Office (KPP) in collaboration with Hamzanwadi University held a Tax Goes To Campus activity on Wednesday, November 29, 2023. This activity was packaged in a Tax Seminar with the theme "Tax Awareness is Proof of Caring for the Country".

The executor is the Economic Education Study Program, Faculty of Social and Economic Sciences. The activity was filled with the provision of materials, interactive games, followed by a joint discussion.

This activity was attended by the Chancellor and leadership of Hamzanwadi University. Also present were the Head of KPP Praya and his staff. This event aims to increase awareness of the importance of taxation as a form of significant contribution to the progress of the country.

In the seminar attended by hundreds of students, the Head of KPP Pratama Praya invited participants to understand more deeply about the role and importance of tax awareness for the country's economic growth.

The Chancellor of Hamzanwadi University, Dr. Hj Sitti Rohmi Djalilah, stated that tax awareness is part of social responsibility as a citizen. By paying taxes correctly, you have participated in building and advancing the country.

He emphasized that this event is a strategic step by the university in educating students and the public about the importance of tax awareness since they are still in college.

"I am sure this activity is very useful for increasing their understanding of the important role of taxes in national development," said the Deputy Governor of NTB for the 2018-2023 period.

This seminar is expected to be a trigger to be more concerned and aware of the role and obligation to pay taxes as real evidence of concern for the progress of the nation and state.
