
Hamzanwadi University Holds Workshop on Review and Development of MBKM Guidelines for ISS-MBKM Program
Hamzanwadi University held a workshop to review and develop the Independent Learning Independent Campus (MBKM) guidelines for the Institutional Support System (ISS) Program, Thursday (20/07/2023).
The event, which was held in the campus meeting room, was in order to analyze the basic legal needs for the implementation of MBKM, which was attended by all Study Program Coordinators of Hamzanwadi University, the Quality Control Team, and Heads of related Centers.
The workshop was held in 2 sessions, the first session on "Review and Formulation of the Legal Basis for the Implementation of MBKM" with the speaker being the Chairperson of the Indonesian PGSD Lecturer Association, Dr. I Gede Margunayasa, S.Pd., M.Pd.
In his material, he provided a lot of input on the existing MBKM guidelines at Hamzanwadi University, especially related to the fulfillment of services to students so that they are truly in accordance with student expectations.
The second session on "Review and Development of MBKM Guidelines" delivered by Prof. Dr. Sujarwanto, M.Pd. Vice Rector for Planning and Cooperation of Surabaya State University. This session further strengthens the existing MBKM guidelines.
Head of the PKKM Implementation Team of Hamzanwadi University Dr. H. Edy Waluyo, M.Pd said that the MBKM Program has become one of the leading initiatives in supporting students to develop independence and competitiveness.
"Through the support of the Institutional Support System (ISS), this program provides access to various educational and development opportunities for Hamzanwadi University students," explained Edy Waluyo who is also the Dean of the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences.
The purpose of this activity is to review and develop the MBKM guidelines for the ISS Program to ensure the quality and relevance of the program for students. Workshop participants engaged in interactive discussions and collaborative sessions to identify new ways to improve the learning experience and systemic support provided by MBKM and ISS.
According to him, Hamzanwadi University is always committed to providing an innovative and inclusive learning environment for students. This MBKM program is one manifestation of this commitment. Through this workshop, he hopes to continue to provide maximum benefits for the personal and professional development of students.
The workshop also serves as a platform to explore potential collaborations with various institutions and educational institutions at home and abroad. By forming a strong network, Hamzanwadi University aims to expand opportunities for student exchanges, internship programs, and international activities for their students.
