East Lombok – Hamzanwadi University signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) and Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) with PT Indonesia Nippon Anugerah, Wednesday (16/04/2025).

This strategic collaboration was carried out to support the Japanese Internship Program initiated by the Tourism Study Program, opening doors for students to gain professional experience on the international stage.

The signing ceremony, which took place solemnly on the Hamzanwadi University campus, was attended by all faculty deans, demonstrating cross-disciplinary synergy in encouraging the internationalization of education.

This moment is also a strategic step as well as the launch of the first Japanese language enrichment class designed to prepare students to face the world of work and Japanese culture directly.

The Chancellor of Hamzanwadi University, Dr. Hj. Sitti Rohmi Djalilah emphasized the importance of this collaboration in broadening students' horizons and opportunities to face future challenges.

"We not only want to produce competent graduates, but also young professionals who are able to compete in the global market with a deep mastery of language, skills, and cultural understanding," he said.

He emphasized that this program is in line with the university's vision to become an educational center that supports the development of superior and competitive human resources and is adaptive to the progress of the times.

In addition, PT Indonesia Nippon Anugerah will support the intensive training process, including strengthening Japanese language skills and providing work skills that are relevant to global industry standards.

"The Japanese Internship Program not only improves student competence, but also strengthens East Lombok's position as a globally oriented educational center," he said.

With this step, Hamzanwadi University is optimistic that it can continue to expand its international cooperation network, create more opportunities for students, and strengthen its reputation as a leading educational institution in Indonesia.

It is known that PT Indonesia Nipon is a job training institution that empowers the younger generation through a program to form mental attitudes, skills, and independence in the form of Integrated Japanese Language Training and Internships to Japan.
