Hamzanwadi University Signs MoU with Attarkiah Islamiah Institute Thailand

EAST LOMBOK - Hamzanwadi University received a visit from the Attarkiah Islamiah Institute, Thailand, Tuesday (19/12/2023). The group of 5 people was led by Ustadz Adul, Lenseen Students Exchange Officer and Language Center Attarkiah.

Attarkiah Islamiah Institute is a foundation based in Narathiwat, Southern Thailand. During this visit, the signing of the MoU and MoA was carried out containing the sending of student interns to Thai schools under the Attarkiah Islamiah Institute foundation.

This visit aims to strengthen relations between Hamzanwadi University and Attarkiah Islamiah Institute and expand cooperation in the fields of education, culture, and language.

During the visit, both parties carried out a series of activities including discussions on the potential for academic collaboration, cultural exchange, and cross-country learning experiences.

Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs of Hamzanwadi University Dr. Abdullah Muzakar said that this meeting was an important effort to discuss cooperation in order to build collaboration that is beneficial for both institutions.

"We are happy and excited to welcome the group from Attarkiah Islamiah Institute. We are sure that this visit will enrich our insights and experiences in cross-border cooperation," he said.

This visit is expected to open more doors for cooperation between the two institutions in terms of knowledge exchange, learning experiences, and research in the future.

"Hamzanwadi University is committed to continuing to expand its international network in order to create a diverse and quality educational environment for students," said Muzakar.

He emphasized that the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) and Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) confirms the partnership between the two parties in the field of sending students to educational institutions under the auspices of the Attarkiah Islamiah Institute.

Through this student exchange program, he hopes that it will provide an opportunity for Hamzanwadi University students to develop their insights in a different educational environment in Thailand.

"This is an important step in an effort to improve the international educational experience for students. Through this collaboration, we hope to provide opportunities for students to learn and develop in a different educational environment," he explained.

With this collaboration, both institutions hope to strengthen their ties in supporting the development of academic and cultural potential for students, creating a wider and more competitive educational network in the global world.
