
Hamzanwadi University signs MoU with The Jayakarta Lombok.
Supporting the capacity building of Tourism Study Program students through the tourism industry, Hamzanwadi University signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Jayakarta Lombok.
In the MoU signing process, Hamzanwadi University was represented by Vice Chancellor I, Dr. Abdullah Muzakar, M.Sc, accompanied by the Tourism Study Program Coordinator, Muhammad Ramli. Meanwhile, the Jayakarta Lombok party was attended directly by the General Manager, Mr. Charry Abdul Hakim.
The collaboration between the two institutions was combined with table manner training for around 67 students which was carried out in 2 stages, namely on December 24 and The first stage was carried out on Tuesday, December 24 and the second stage on Thursday, December 29, 2022.
The collaboration with The Jayakarta Lombok includes internships, guest lecturers, research and training.
Vice Chancellor 1 conveyed the importance of cooperation with the industrial world because the industry is the front fighter for the economic development of a region.
"Cooperation with industry (Jayakarta) will further strengthen the position of educational institutions (Hamzanwadi University) in the context of internships, community service, research and community service, he added".
The Tourism study program coordinator, Muhammad Ramli, M.Pd. added that the signing of this MoU was intended to strengthen the preparation of MBKM activities for the Tourism Study Program, especially in the hotel industry considering that one of the outputs of Tourism Study Program graduates is as practitioners.
"With the signing of the MoU with The Jayakarta Lombok, the Tourism Study Program will have a wider distribution of internship locations," concluded Ramli.
