IMPLEMENTING THE REAL WORK LECTURE PROGRAM, HAMZANWADI UNIVERSITY HOLDS SDGs-BASED VILLAGE DEVELOPMENT KKN PROVISION
Hamzanwadi University held a Briefing on the KKN Bina Desa Program Based on Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) on Tuesday, August 6, 2024 at the Hamzanwadi University GOR. There were 1045 KKN Bina Desa participants consisting of 6 Faculties at Hamzanwadi University. This KKN Bina Desa Briefing presented several speakers from various agencies that are members of the KKN Bina Desa Program partners, including the National Population and Family Planning Agency (BKKBN) of the West Nusa Tenggara Program and the Financial Services Authority (OJK) of the West Nusa Tenggara Province.
Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs of Hamzanwadi University Dr. Abdullah Muzakar, M.Si said that this KKN Bina Desa Program is an effort to provide stimulus to the community and is able to become a village partner in building and developing villages. In addition, Muzakar said that Hamzanwadi University students are active and able to provide creative, innovative ideas and solutions in helping villages solve problems in the village, including Financial Literacy, Inclusive Education, Stunting, and several SDGs that must be achieved.
The Chairperson of the 2024 Hamzanwadi University Village Development KKN Committee based on SDGs who is also the head of the Center for Research, Community Service and Publication (P3MP) of Hamzanwadi University, Dr. Abdul Rasyad M.Pd said that the SDGs-Based Village Development KKN Briefing is a briefing activity to prepare the basic framework when students are deployed to the community. Abdul Rasyad also explained that this briefing is the basis for students in designing SDGs-based KKN programs. Although not all SDGs indicators can be intervened in the community, at least the material presented is a reference in planning real action programs in the community.
This briefing includes stunting programs, Financial Literacy and Inclusive Education. This briefing is one of the stages in the implementation of the 2024 Hamzanwadi University Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) Based Village Development Community Service Program.
