The Innovation and Business Incubator Center (PIIB) of Hamzanwadi University participated in an activity to increase the capacity of human resources (HR) of incubator institutions, organized by ASDEP Information Technology Development and Business Incubation, Deputy for Entrepreneurship, Ministry of Cooperatives and SMEs of the Republic of Indonesia, which took place at the Best Western Plus Makasar Beach Hotel from 25 to 27 July 2022.

This activity aims to increase the capacity of HR of Incubator Institutions whose participants consist of the Head of the Incubator Institution, Manager, and Companion/Mentor. PIIB Hamzanwadi University was represented by Mrs. Dr. Baiq Liana Widiyanti, M.Si representing the Chairperson, Mr. Fahrurrozi, M.Pd. representing the Manager, and Mr. Taufik Akbar, M.Kom representing the Companion/Mentor.

This activity was attended by 15 Incubators from Central and Eastern Indonesia. After carrying out this activity, PIIB Univ Hamzanwadi will be assisted for three months by the Ministry of Cooperatives and SMEs to complete the business plan, action plan, and others, so that it is hoped that in the near future it can provide maximum assistance to tenants in the West Nusa Tenggara region. In addition, PIIB Universitas Hamzanwadi is expected to be able to play an active role as an effective vehicle in developing an entrepreneurial spirit, skills, networks, and business insights, especially for students. PIIB also hopes to be able to play an active role in helping to increase the contribution of MSMEs to exports, gross domestic product, and participation in the digitalization of the economy. The output of this activity is the formation of an Incubator Institution in accordance with the NSPK for Incubation Implementation and can implement incubation programs well and with quality at Universitas Hamzanwadi.
