
Internship, Hamzanwadi University Students Expected to be Able to Build Work Networks
SELONG - The Faculty of Engineering (FT) of Hamzanwadi University released students participating in the Internship who were placed in various business/industrial locations (DUDI) both government and private agencies located in various places inside and outside Lombok Island.
The Internship was attended by 141 students from the Informatics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Environmental Engineering and Information Systems study programs. The Internship will be carried out for 2 months from August to October 2023.
"The purpose of this internship is to implement the knowledge that students have received from semesters 1 to 6 to be implemented in the workplace," said Vice Chancellor Dr. Abdullah Muzakkar, Monday (06/08/2023).
According to him, during the internship, students will have the opportunity to learn and adapt to different work cultures, as well as gain valuable practical experience in the engineering fields they are studying.
Through this experience, students can hone their work skills, understand real challenges in the industrial world, and gain insight into various technical and managerial aspects.
This Internship Experience can also be a strong foundation for students in making decisions about the field of specialization they want to pursue in the future.
"Through a combination of theory and practice, this program aims to create competent young professionals who are ready to contribute to industrial and community development," he added.
Some locations where students can do Internships include Geopark Rinjani Mataram, the Mataram City Communication, Informatics and Statistics Office, LPPL Selaparang TV, Berkah Tech Indonesia, the Manpower and Transmigration Office, PT. Digital Control Indonesia, Lombok Center IT, etc.
While outside Lombok Island, there is PT. Barinda Bersaudara East Kalimantan. All of that is placed according to their competencies that have been learned during college, including learning before they are released to participate in the internship.
"During the Internship, students are expected to be able to build networks and relationships with professionals in the industry, which can potentially open up career opportunities in the future," he concluded.
