KTI Workshop, HM Djamaluddin: Efforts to Improve Student Competence

East Lombok - The Informatics Engineering Study Program, Faculty of Engineering (FT), Hamzanwadi University held a scientific paper writing (KTI) workshop, Thursday (11/08/2022). "This training is part of the Independent Campus Competition Program (PKKM)," said Dean of FT HM Djamaluddin in Pancor NTB. This training is an effort to improve students' competence in writing scientific papers, especially for final semester students. "From this activity, students are expected to be able to write good scientific papers from the results of their theses," said the doctoral candidate.

In addition, students are expected to be able to publish articles in national journals which will have a positive impact on the clustering ranking of Hamzanwadi University. Deputy Dean for Academic Affairs of FT Hariman Bahtiar added that this workshop activity was attended by all final semester students or those who are currently working on their theses from various study programs at FT.

"We are making this effort to help students, because so far many have experienced difficulties in writing this," he added. He assessed that although this workshop was held for one day, he hoped that students would be able to absorb the material presented by the speakers who were experts in their fields.

Present at the opening of the workshop were a number of high-ranking campus officials and lecturers from FT. The participants also seemed enthusiastic about participating in the activity. "Hopefully the event will be a success," he concluded.
