Selong – Universitas Hamzanwadi welcomed a visit from the Lembaga Layanan Pendidikan Tinggi (LLDIKTI) Region VIII Bali–Nusa Tenggara on Monday, July 21, 2025. The visit was part of an assistance program focused on the utilization and reporting of research and Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat (PkM) grant funds. The event took place in the Rectorate Meeting Room of Universitas Hamzanwadi and was attended by representatives from six private universities in East Lombok under the coordination of LLDIKTI Region VIII.

In her welcoming remarks, the Rector of Universitas Hamzanwadi, Dr. Ir. Hj. Sitti Rohmi Djalilah, M.Pd., expressed her full support for efforts to enhance the capacity of lecturers and grant administrators at each university. She emphasized the importance of inter-institutional collaboration to strengthen the quality and accountability in the implementation of grant programs.

This mentoring session was aimed at increasing understanding of the proper, transparent, and accountable use and reporting of research and PkM grant funds.

The Head of LLDIKTI Region VIII, Dr. I Gusti Lanang Bagus Eratodi, S.T., M.T., in his remarks, reminded participants that grant programs should not stop at administrative outputs but must also deliver real outcomes for society and contribute to the development of science.

“We expect the research and community service grants awarded to generate broad benefits for the community and the academic world. Just as important is ensuring high-quality reporting that complies with all regulations,” he emphasized.

Through this initiative, LLDIKTI Region VIII hopes that lecturers and grant program managers at private universities will become more capable and professional in managing impactful and high-quality research and community service grant programs.
