
Mathematics student Hamzanwadi is the best speaker at the NTB GenRe Indonesia Forum.
Several achievements were achieved by Hamzanwadi University students. This time, the achievement was achieved by a student of the Mathematics Education Study Program, Sucita Annisa Belia Istiqomah who is now in her fourth semester. This beautiful student who is usually called Ici in 2020 won the Genre Awards Competition which took place at the BKKBN in the Storytelling Counseling Information Center Competition for best speaker, and won the title of "Best Speaker" held by the NTB Indonesian GenRe Forum. The enthusiasm of this beautiful girl who was born in Pancor on November 14, 2000, continued to be fostered to hone her abilities until finally in 2021, she again won the 2021 Business Idea Competition held by BEM Hamzanwadi University which was attended by all students throughout NTB. The product brand that was submitted when she participated in the competition was named 'Mbak Cantik' which is engaged in the culinary field. While her product is called Lumbastik, which is a snack in the form of spring rolls, kebabs and sticks. It was stated that the biggest motivation to join the competition was to show that students can also do business while studying so that when they graduate from campus they are ready to compete in the world of work. The business has been running for 6 years and this competition is an opportunity to test product quality and share ideas for marketing strategies from the supervisor and the jury. He hopes that the Hamzanwadi University campus can create an event every semester break by involving all students to learn about business and dare to jump into the world of entrepreneurship. According to him, the benefits of doing business are not only about money, but also being able to have a lot of experience that cannot be bought with money. Meanwhile, the Coordinator of the Mathematics Study Program, Dr. Sri Supiyati, appreciated her students' achievements. She did not expect to win the competition because there were many creative ideas from other students who participated in the competition. "In the future, we will identify the potential of students to be coached, not only in the context of business but all fields to be able to compete in the world of work later after graduating," she said.
