PRACTICUM AND KKN PROGRAM IN BASIC LITERACY AND INCLUSIVE EDUCATION
The Practical Workshop and KKN Basic Literacy and Inclusive Education was held on Tuesday (28/03/2023) at the Meeting Room of Hamzanwadi University, East Lombok. The activity was opened directly by the Vice Chancellor of Hamzanwadi University, Abdullah Muzakkar. "Hamzanwadi University is trusted as an implementing partner for inclusive education, inseparable from its track record, Hamzanwadi University is recognized as a leader in the focus on inclusive education, namely with the Disability Service Center (PLD), many good practices have been carried out," said the Vice Chancellor of Hamzanwadi University, Abdullah Muzakkar. A total of 33 participants (M; 21 / F; 12) took part in this activity, consisting of study program coordinators, P3MP representatives, assistants, and the Hamzanwadi University grant team. Five materials presented during the activity were "The Concept of PPL and KKN of Hamzanwadi University Related to the Basic Literacy and Inclusive Education IKM Program", "The Relationship of Unit 1, 2, and 6 Materials with the PPL and KKN Program of Hamzanwadi University", "Creating a Sense of Security for All Students: The Foundation of Inclusive Education", "Identification of Student Functional Learning Difficulties" and "Inclusive Education Strengthening Program Based on Education Report Card Data". After the material was delivered, participants were involved in a discussion related to the KKN activity plan in Basic Literacy and Inclusive Education. "This activity is very good, if possible basic literacy and inclusive education are included in MBKM, inclusive education is important, because there are many children who need to be fostered. There are many benefits to be gained from this program, one of which is becoming a leading program of Hamzanawadi University." said Muh. Fahrurrozi, dean of FISE. The purpose of this activity is to plan practical activities and KKN in basic literacy and inclusive education. "When KKN found many stunted children, with this program students were equipped with how to identify, how to handle and follow up". said Abdul Aziz.
In this activity, participants were also introduced to assessment instruments supported by INOVASI. Assessment instruments for literacy and functional learning difficulties of students. "The hope is that even though this program is no longer supported by INOVASI, at least students and schools have been equipped with initial assessment tools for basic literacy and functional learning difficulties of students, so that they can design learning based on the results of the assessments that have been carried out." said Atiaturrahmaniah.
It is a shared hope that by carrying out workshop activities for practical programs and KKN in basic literacy and inclusive education, it can produce KKN implementation outputs that focus on basic literacy and inclusive education (having a model in implementing the MBKM framework that focuses on basic literacy and inclusive education).
