
Preserving the Environment, Hamzanwadi University Signs MoA and IA with East Lombok DLH
EAST LOMBOK - The Environmental Engineering Study Program of Hamzanwadi University in collaboration with the Environmental Service (DLH) of East Lombok Regency signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) and Implementation Arrangement (IA), Monday (11/09/2023).
Director of Cooperation and Public Relations of Hamzanwadi University Dr. Muhammad Halqi said that this collaboration aims to support the tridharma of higher education, namely education, research, and community service.
"We will provide quality academic and research resources to strengthen this collaboration so that it contributes to the region, including preparing students to apply the knowledge they have gained so far," he explained.
He emphasized that this collaboration will also include the exchange of knowledge and research between the two parties, with a common goal of protecting and preserving the environment in Gumi Patuh Karya.
"Hamzanwadi University is committed to continuing to support sustainable development and environmental protection, and hopes that this collaboration will have a positive impact on East Lombok Regency and the community," he hoped.
Furthermore, the UNJ graduate doctor emphasized that the scope of the collaboration is the implementation of an independent campus, research and publication, community service, internships, and student practical work, as well as actions to preserve the environment.
Both parties will jointly carry out concrete actions to preserve the environment in the area, including reforestation programs, environmental cleaning, and other efforts that focus on nature conservation.
"Including counseling, environmental programs, and other efforts that will support sustainable development. So, we are committed to continuing to support sustainable development and environmental preservation through this ongoing collaboration," concluded Halqi.
