YOGYAKARTA – The Pendidikan Profesi Guru (PPG), or Teacher Professional Education Program, at Universitas Hamzanwadi conducted a strategic benchmarking visit to Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta (UNY) on August 14-15, 2025. This visit was a vital step toward expanding knowledge and reinforcing inter-university collaboration in the management and development of the PPG program.

The Universitas Hamzanwadi delegation received a warm welcome from the leadership and management team of the UNY PPG program. Participants received in-depth presentations on learning innovations, a comprehensive evaluation system, and the management of a modern, efficient, technology-based PPG administration.

Dr. Abdullah Muzakar, M.Si., Vice Rector I of Universitas Hamzanwadi, emphasized that this activity marks a crucial moment for the university to improve the quality of its teacher professional education.

"The insights gained from this benchmarking study will serve as an inspiration for the development of our PPG program at Universitas Hamzanwadi. This will enable us to produce professional educators who are adaptable to contemporary developments and ready to meet the challenges of future education," he stated.

In addition to exchanging ideas and experiences, the visit served to strengthen the institutional relationship between Universitas Hamzanwadi and UNY. It's hoped that this collaboration will foster joint innovations that will benefit the advancement of education across Indonesia.
