Universitas Hamzanwadi's Faculty of Medicine Officially Opens, Ready to Produce Professional and Ethical Doctors EAST LOMBOK – July 30, 2025 – Universitas Hamzanwadi has once again marked a significant milestone with the official operational permit for its Faculty of Medicine from the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia. This authorization, outlined in Keputusan Menteri Nomor 589/B/O/2025 , encompasses two strategic study programs: the Undergraduate Medical Program (S1) and the Medical Professional Education Program. For the Hamzanwadi Pondok Pesantren Darunnahdlatain NWDI Pancor Education Foundation, the establishment of this Faculty of Medicine represents a crucial step in its mission to broaden access to higher education in the medical field, particularly for young generations in West Nusa Tenggara and the Eastern Indonesia region. Universitas Hamzanwadi also becomes the only pesantren (Islamic boarding school) based LPTK (Education Personnel Training Institute) in Eastern Indonesia to establish a Faculty of Medicine.
