Selong - Strengthening the capacity of Lecturers in the Faculty of Education, Hamzanwadi University, FIP in collaboration with INOVASI NTB held a workshop on developing reading media for children for 2 days. This activity was carried out from 19 to 20 June 2023 in the Meeting Room, 1st Floor, Rectorate of Hamzanwadi University. This activity was motivated by the lack of reading resources in schools that were in accordance with the level of children's reading ability, as well as several results of reflections with supervisors and teachers of IKM implementation partners in East Lombok.

This activity was opened directly by the Dean of the Faculty of Education, Muhammad Sururuddin, M.Pd., on this occasion he hoped that "The output from the implementation of this program can provide strengthening of reading skills as one of the language skills. In addition, Lecturers can also create reading media that can be integrated into several related courses" He concluded.

The resource person in this activity was Azhar Zaini from INOVASI as well as an observer of NTB children. The first material presented was about the material on children's reading ability levels, and continued with designing children's reading books by drawing and making story boards. On the second day, we will discuss how to design reading books that can be applied to Android.
