Selong — The English Teaching Department of the Faculty of Language, Arts, and Humanities at Universitas Hamzanwadi held its 35th Anniversary of the English Department celebration on Monday, November 17, 2025, with great enthusiasm and spirit of togetherness. The celebration carried the theme SOLID: Summit of Dreams, Legacy in Diversity, which represents the program's long journey, grand aspirations, and diverse talents within the academic environment of the English Teaching Department.

The festive event took place at the White Stage (Panggung Putih) in the Hamzanwadi Sports Hall (GOR) and was attended by various members of the academic community, alumni, and current students. The celebration was officially opened by the Vice Rector III of Universitas Hamzanwadi, Mr. Muhammad Ali, M.Si, who, in his speech, acknowledged the English Teaching Department's 35-year contribution in producing graduates who are excellent, critical, and competitive.

Also present was the Advisor to the English Students Association (HMPS Bahasa Inggris), Mr. Muhammad Husnu, M.Pd, who used the occasion to convey the importance of maintaining a solid, creative, and adaptive academic tradition in response to global developments, particularly in the field of English language education.

As a moment of reflection and appreciation, the celebration featured various activities, including art performances, student presentations, and the presentation of awards to individuals and communities who have contributed to the journey and achievements of the English Teaching Department over the years.

This 35th-anniversary celebration is hoped not only to be a form of gratitude for the long journey of the department but also a starting point for strengthening its vision and innovation for a more globally competitive future.
