Hamzanwadi Halal Center Recruits and Trains Halal Product Process Assistants (P3H) for 2025
PANCOR, Indonesia – The Halal Center Hamzanwadi has once again conducted recruitment and training for Pendamping Proses Produksi Halal (P3H), or Halal Product Process Assistants, for 2025.
This P3H training activity was organized as part of the pre-commencement (pre-graduation) series of events for Universitas Hamzanwadi. The Chief Committee, Rody Satriawan, M.Pd., explained that this year's pre-commencement activities began with the P3H training, which was conducted in a hybrid format from November 18-20, 2025.
In addition to the P3H training, other activities scheduled include a career seminar and an introduction to the business and industry world (DUDI) for prospective graduates, ensuring they are prepared for the workforce after their commencement.
Previously, during the P3H training opening, the Halal Center Secretary, Muhammad Ramli, M.Pd. CHE, revealed that the activity was attended by forty-nine (49) prospective P3H candidates, drawn from various groups including students, teachers, lecturers, and alumni.
Ramli added that the hybrid event featured direct instruction from the Badan Penyelenggara Jaminan Produk Halal (BPJPH) (Halal Product Assurance Organizing Agency) and the Komite Fatwa Produk Halal (Halal Product Fatwa Committee) directly from Jakarta, with the remaining sessions led by existing P3H members and the management of the Hamzanwadi Halal Center.
Furthermore, the Vice Rector 3 of Universitas Hamzanwadi, Dr. Muhamad Ali, M.Sc., expressed appreciation for the successful execution of the P3H training. He noted that Universitas Hamzanwadi, as a private higher education institution (PTS) that is fundamentally a pesantren-based (Islamic boarding school) campus, has an obligation to assist the government in cultivating an ecosystem for the circulation of halal products within the community.
Dr. Muhamad Ali, who also serves as the Head of the Halal Center, confirmed that over the past two years, the Hamzanwadi Halal Center has provided concrete contributions by helping business owners obtain Halal Certificates (SH) for their products and services, though he admitted the number is still relatively small.
"Certainly, P3H members face challenges, but they also have wide-open opportunities to assist the community in managing their halal certification process. Therefore, the P3H personnel operating under the Hamzanwadi Halal Center must be genuinely committed to assisting the halal product process for the surrounding community," Ali concluded.
