Championing Cross-Sector Collaboration: Islamic Fest 2025 Successfully Held!
East Lombok — The Faculty of Engineering at Universitas Hamzanwadi successfully held Islamic Fest 2025, a major event themed "Islamic Spirit, Innovation, and Excellence." The festival featured various Islamic and social activities. This year, Islamic Fest was driven by a spirit of cross-sectoral collaboration, involving various parties to implement programs that directly impacted the community.
A wide array of activities were successfully carried out with support from several partners. The Religious and Technology Seminar was held thanks to support from the Lombok Timur Communications and Informatics Agency (Dinas Kominfo), featuring an engaging discussion on the role of technology in strengthening Islamic values in the digital age. The Islamic Literacy Program partnered with the Lumbung Lombok Literacy Foundation, demonstrating a commitment to enhancing literacy culture among students and the community.
Furthermore, a successful distribution of hundreds of Al-Qur'an mushafs (copies of the Qur'an) was achieved through a collaboration between Masjid Jalan Cahaya and the Lombok Literacy Granary (Lumbung Literasi Lombok). The distribution of these mushafs was extended to various areas in East Lombok, with full support from the Universitas Hamzanwadi Community Service Program (KKN Bina Desa) team.
In addition, a touching moment was the orphans donation event, funded through collections from Faculty of Engineering students and lecturers. This activity served as a tangible manifestation of the academic community's social care and concern for others.
The event was also supported by main sponsors Twin Ollshop and BNI, who contributed to the successful execution of the activities throughout the festival.
The Vice Dean for Non-Academic Affairs of the Faculty of Engineering, Yahya, ST., M.Kom., conveyed his deep appreciation to all committee members.
“I extend my sincerest gratitude to all the committee members. Despite the existing limitations, you were able to prove yourselves and organize this event exceptionally well. I personally salute you," he said.
Meanwhile, the Chief Committee, Rizki Parabi, also expressed his thanks to everyone involved.
"Thank you to all elements who worked hand-in-hand to make this event successful, from various forms of support and media partners to sponsorships. This was a truly excellent collaborative program—all parties were involved, and all parties benefited. This is genuinely what we aim for," he expressed.
He added that the success of Islamic Fest 2025 was not solely the result of meticulous concepts and planning, but also the hard work and dedication of the entire committee.
"All concepts and planning would fail without the committee fulfilling their duties. I offer countless thanks to all members of the Islamic Fest 2025 committee. You have proven that doubts can be answered with real work," he concluded.
With the end of all the events, Islamic Fest 2025 not only left a deep impression on participants and organizers but also affirmed the importance of collaboration, solidarity, and innovation in fostering the Islamic spirit in the modern era.
