Hamzanwadi University Lecturer Selected to Participate in Lemhannas RI’s Training of Trainers on Strengthening National Values

Jakarta – Dr. Abdul Latif, M.Pd., a lecturer at Hamzanwadi University, was selected to participate in the Training of Trainers (ToT) program on the Consolidation of National Values for Lecturers, organized by the National Resilience Institute of the Republic of Indonesia (Lemhannas RI). The event took place from June 23 to 30, 2026, at the Lemhannas RI headquarters and the Military Health Center (Puskes) in Kramat Jati, Jakarta.

This program is part of Lemhannas RI’s efforts to strengthen the understanding and internalization of national values among lecturers, teachers, and instructional staff who play a strategic role in building national character.

The participant selection process was rigorous. Out of approximately 900 applicants from various regions across Indonesia, only 100 were selected to attend the training. For the lecturer category, priority was given to those teaching courses on *Pancasila* and Civic Education.

During the training, participants received instruction on national insight, national leadership, and effective teaching strategies for instilling national values in students. One of the key sessions was delivered personally by the Governor of Lemhannas RI, Dr. H. TB. Ace Hasan Syadzili, M.Si., who emphasized the vital role of educators as agents who reinforce unity, nationalism, and national character amidst global dynamics.

In addition to classroom learning, participants engaged in teaching practice sessions before representatives of the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI) and the Indonesian National Police (Polri) as part of a competency evaluation regarding the effective and contextual delivery of material on national values.

Dr. Abdul Latif’s participation reflects Hamzanwadi University’s commitment to enhancing lecturer competence while strengthening the implementation of character education and national values within the higher education environment. Through this program, it is hoped that the teaching of *Pancasila* and Civic Education courses will become increasingly relevant and inspiring, capable of shaping students with strong character and a robust spirit of nationalism.
