Signing MoA, Hamzanwadi University Optimistic in Developing Innovative Programs Strengthening the Quality of Education, Hamzanwadi University Signs MoA with UNY

SELONG - In order to strengthen the quality of education and encourage innovation in the fields of science and technology, the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences (FMIPA) of Hamzanwadi University signed a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) with the Faculty of Engineering, Yogyakarta State University (UNY).

"This collaboration is a joint commitment to share knowledge and resources in order to improve the quality of education, research, and community service," said Dean of FMIPA, Hamzanwadi University, Dr. H Edy Waluyo, Friday (02/08/2024).

He expressed optimism that the partnership that was established would be a catalyst for important breakthroughs in the future. With this synergy, his party is optimistic that they can develop innovative programs that make real contributions to society.

"This collaboration opens up great opportunities for us to conduct collaborative research and develop sustainable technical solutions. We believe that this collaboration will have a broad positive impact," he said.

Edy Waluyo said that this collaboration increases the closeness between Hamzanwadi University and UNY which has actually existed for a long time so that it does not feel strange if this partnership is established.

As a form of partnership between FMIPA Hamzanwadi University and the Faculty of Engineering UNY, in the near future, students from the informatics education study program will be sent to attend lectures for one semester in Informatics Engineering Education UNY.

Edy Waluyo sees this cross-disciplinary collaboration as an effort to face global challenges. This collaboration opens up great opportunities to conduct collaborative research and develop sustainable technical solutions that will have a positive impact.

Dean of the Faculty of Engineering UNY Prof. Mutiara Nugraheni appreciated the signing of this MoA. He admitted that he was pleased with Hamzanwadi University which immediately had concrete actions to realize the partnership that is currently being built.

"We also open up opportunities as widely as possible to establish partnerships in other fields including research and publication collaborations. In the near future, an international conference will be held," he explained.

This activity was attended by the Dean and Vice Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, UNY, Dean & Vice Dean of FMIPA, Hamzanwadi University, all Coordinating Study Programs within FMIPA, as well as lecturers and representatives of Informatics Education study program students.
