Universitas Hamzanwadi Becomes a Reference for Medical Faculty Development, State Islamic University of Palangka Raya Conducts Benchmarking

The Faculty of Medicine of Universitas Hamzanwadi received a courtesy visit from the State Islamic University (UIN) of Palangka Raya on Monday, March 2, 2026. The visit was part of a benchmarking agenda in preparation for establishing a Faculty of Medicine at UIN of Palangka Raya.

The State Islamic University of Palangka Raya delegation was led directly by the Rector, Prof. Dr. H. Ahmad Dakhoir, S.H.I., M.H.I., accompanied by the Vice Rector for Academic and Institutional Affairs, Dr. Muhammaad Nasir, M.Pd., as well as the Dean of the Faculty of Tarbiyah and Teacher Training, Dr. Yatin Mulyono, S.Pd. The presence of these senior leaders emphasized the institution’s commitment to developing a medical faculty that is excellent with regulatory standards.

The meeting was attended by Dr. Muhammad Ali, M.Si. (Vice Rector for Student Affairs and Alumni Cooperation), Dr. Padlurrahman, M.Pd. (Vice Rector for Institutional Development, Governance, Data, and Information), Dr. Hj. Hartini Haritani, M.Pd. (Vice Dean II of the Faculty of Medicine), Dr. dr. Faradila (Consultant for the Faculty of Medicine), and dr. Arief Rahman, MARS., M.H. (Lecturer at the Faculty of Medicine) as the representatives of Universitas Hamzanwadi.

During the constructive discussion, the Faculty of Medicine of Universitas Hamzanwadi shared its strategic experiences in the process of establishing the study program, implementing a competency-based curriculum, managing human resources, and developing an internal quality assurance system.

Through this activity, the university once again reaffirmed its role as a strategic partner in the development of medical education in Indonesia, while also opening opportunities for collaboration to improve the quality of higher education in the health sector, particularly in the region of Kalimantan
