East Lombok — Students from the Faculty of Engineering at Universitas Hamzanwadi officially handed over the results of their Community Service Program (KKN) in Aikmel Barat Village to the Aikmel Barat Village Government. The handover ceremony took place at the Aikmel Barat Village Office Hall, Aikmel District, East Lombok Regency, on Saturday (November 6, 2025).

The KKN program, which ran for one month, was focused on developing the digitalization of village administration and information. This served as the students' contribution to supporting the transformation toward more modern and efficient village governance.

In his welcoming speech, the Head of Aikmel Barat Village expressed high appreciation to the KKN students for the contributions and innovations they provided during their time in the village.

“The programs generated by the students are highly helpful to us in managing data and administrative services. Innovation like this is greatly needed to accelerate village digitalization,” he said.

Meanwhile, the Field Supervising Lecturer and Coordinator of the Environmental Engineering Study Program at the Universitas Hamzanwadi Faculty of Engineering also conveyed his thanks to the Aikmel Barat Village Government and the community for their full cooperation and support during the KKN implementation.

“We hope the students’ work will provide tangible benefits for the progress of Aikmel Barat Village, especially in supporting digital-based public services,” he stated.

During the event, the results of the two flagship programs developed by the KKN students were handed over:
1. Digital Map of Aikmel Barat Village, which is an administrative and regional potential map based on digital technology to simplify development planning and public information access.
2. Digital Attendance System, an application for recording the attendance of village officials designed to increase efficiency and accuracy in personnel administration.

Following the handover procession, the event continued with a discussion and sharing session. The KKN team presented the operational method, benefits, and usage guidelines for both digital programs. The village officials and representatives from the Universitas Hamzanwadi Faculty of Engineering gave positive feedback and several suggestions for development so that the system can continue to be utilized after the KKN period ends.
