The Faculty of Education (FIP) of Hamzanwadi University is one of six faculties at Hamzanwadi University, East Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara. This faculty has a long history in developing education in the region.
Brief History
FIP has its roots in the establishment of the Hamzanwadi College of Education (STIP) in 1977 by TGKH. Muhammad Zainuddin Abdul Madjid. In 1978, STIP changed to the Hamzanwadi Selong Teacher Training and Education College (STKIP). Then, on September 23, 2016, STKIP Hamzanwadi Selong merged with the Hamzanwadi Selong Technology College to become Hamzanwadi University. FIP was officially established on October 5, 2018 based on the Decree of the Chancellor of Hamzanwadi University Number 612/UH/Kpt./X/2018.
Study Programs
FIP Hamzanwadi University has four study programs at the Bachelor level (S1):
- Guidance and Counseling (BK): Preparing students to become professional counselors at various levels of education and social institutions.
- Elementary School Teacher Education (PGSD): Preparing competent prospective teachers to teach at the elementary school level.
- Early Childhood Education Teacher Education (PGPAUD): Focusing on developing professional and character-based early childhood educators.
- Physical Education Health (Penjas): Developing educators in the field of physical education and health with a recreational approach.
- Special Education (PKH) : Special Education: is a new study program in the faculty of teacher training
Vision and Mission
