Hamzanwadi University Economics Education Student Wins Best Novelty Award at BISTIC 2026 International Conference
Batu Layar – A Hamzanwadi University student has once again achieved a proud milestone on the international stage. Gina Ilhami, a student of the Economics Education Study Program at the Faculty of Social Sciences and Economics (FISE), Hamzanwadi University, won the Best Novelty Award at the 6th Business Innovation, Sustainability, and Technology International Conference (BISTIC) 2026.
The international conference, organized by the Department of Management at the Faculty of Economics and Business, State University of Malang (UM), took place at the Jayakarta Hotel in Batu Layar, Senggigi, West Lombok Regency, West Nusa Tenggara, on July 30, 2026. The event served as a scholarly forum bringing together academics, researchers, students, and practitioners to present research findings and innovations in the fields of business, sustainability, and technology.
The Best Novelty Award was presented for the research paper titled "Digital Capability, Market Orientation, and MSME Marketing Performance: The Mediating Role of Marketing Creativity," authored by Gina Ilhami in collaboration with Prof. Dr. Muh. Fahrurrozi, M.M.
The study examined the impact of digital capabilities and market orientation on the marketing performance of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), with marketing creativity serving as a mediating variable. Through this research, the authors offer a fresh perspective on the importance of strengthening digital capabilities and marketing innovation as strategies to enhance MSME competitiveness amidst the digital economic transformation.
The Best Novelty Award recognizes the novelty of ideas, originality, and scholarly contribution presented in the research.
