Pancor – Hamzanwadi University continues to reinforce its commitment to fostering an educational environment that is inclusive and adaptive to technological advancements. This commitment is demonstrated by the participation of students with disabilities in the Digital Skills for Inclusive Digital Participation (SIDP) training, organized by the Lombok Research Center (LRC) on Friday (August 7, 2026).

The event is part of a collaboration between the LRC and the British Council under the SIDP program. Its implementation involved the university's Disability Services Center (PLD) and the Special Education Study Program as partners.

In addition to the training, the event included the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to strengthen collaboration in promoting the participation of people with disabilities in the digital space.

Through the program, participants gained practical digital literacy and skills relevant to their daily needs. These competencies are expected to foster independence, enhance competitiveness, and expand opportunities for students with disabilities to participate actively in the digital era.

Hamzanwadi University expressed its appreciation for the established collaboration. While technological advancements offer numerous opportunities for people with disabilities, the university noted that utilizing them effectively requires digital proficiency to ensure technology is used safely, wisely, and productively.

The university also reaffirmed its commitment to building a disability-friendly campus by providing services and support that enable students with disabilities to access education and opportunities for growth on an equal footing.

Collaboration among higher education institutions, organizations, the government, and various stakeholders is considered a crucial step in reducing accessibility barriers. This synergy aims to create an educational and digital ecosystem that is increasingly open to everyone.
