Pancor – Hamzanwadi University continues to expand its strategic partnership network to support the implementation of the Tri Dharma Perguruan Tinggi (the Three Pillars of Higher Education). Most recently, Hamzanwadi University established a partnership with the Class II Non-TPI Immigration Office of East Lombok through the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) and a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA), held in the university's Rectorate Meeting Room on Tuesday (August 5, 2026).

The partnership agreement was signed by the Vice Rector II of Hamzanwadi University, Dr. Hj. Dukha Yunitasari, S.H., M.Pd., and the Head of the Class II Non-TPI Immigration Office of East Lombok, Iqbal Rifai, S.H., M.H. This event marks the beginning of strengthened collaboration between the two institutions in the fields of education, community service, and immigration services.

Through this partnership, both parties are committed to launching programs that benefit the academic community and the general public, while simultaneously enhancing understanding of immigration regulations and national civic awareness, as well as fostering the prevention of transnational crimes.

Vice Rector II stated that the partnership represents a strategic move to enrich students' learning experiences through collaboration with government agencies.

"The university cannot operate in isolation. We need strategic partners like the Immigration Office to equip students with an understanding of regulations, open up internship opportunities, and expand avenues for community service in the immigration sector. This aligns with Hamzanwadi University's commitment to producing graduates who are globally competitive yet grounded in strong character," she said.

Meanwhile, the Head of the Class II Non-TPI Immigration Office of East Lombok welcomed the establishment of this partnership. He noted that higher education institutions play a vital role as government partners in raising public awareness regarding immigration regulations. "We are ready to open opportunities for Universitas Hamzanwadi students to participate in internship programs, research, and other collaborative activities. Furthermore, we aim to bring immigration education closer to the public through the university," he explained.

As a follow-up, both institutions will implement several initiatives, including student internship programs at the East Lombok Immigration Office, mobile passport services for the academic community and the general public, as well as outreach programs focused on preventing human trafficking, providing immigration education, and strengthening national consciousness.

Through this collaboration, Universitas Hamzanwadi and the Class II TPI Immigration Office of East Lombok hope to foster sustainable synergy in enhancing human resource quality, expanding public services, and building a community that is legally aware, nationally conscious, and prepared to face global challenges.
