Collaboration with East Lombok Immigration Office Supports Hamzanwadi University Tourism Students Preparing for Internships in Japan
Pancor – Hamzanwadi University continues to strengthen its partnership with the East Lombok Immigration Office by facilitating passport application services for Tourism Study Program students participating in the second batch of the internship program in Japan.
The passport service activity took place on Thursday (August 13, 2026) in the Microteaching Room 2 at Hamzanwadi University and was attended by 17 students participating in the Japan internship program.
Conducting passport services on campus is a tangible result of the cooperation between Hamzanwadi University and the East Lombok Immigration Office. This service makes it easier for students to prepare the travel documents necessary for their internships in Japan.
Representatives from Hamzanwadi University included the Tourism Study Program Coordinator and the Head of the Cooperation and International Relations Unit. Meanwhile, representatives from the East Lombok Immigration Office included the Head of the Immigration Documents and Information Section (Dokintal), Yogi Febrian Putra; the Head of the Dokintal Sub-section, Yohanes Rivaldo; and the Head of the Immigration Information and Communication Technology Section (Tikim), Rijal Pebriyadi.
The Japan internship program is part of Hamzanwadi University's efforts to provide students with international experience while expanding opportunities for competency development aligned with the needs of the workforce and the tourism industry.
Through this synergy with the East Lombok Immigration Office, Hamzanwadi University continues to foster support services that facilitate student participation in international mobility programs. This collaboration is expected to enhance student readiness and support the development of competitive graduates with global experience.
