Bangi, Malaysia – Hamzanwadi University's commitment to expanding its international network continues to be demonstrated through an academic visit to Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) on Monday (July 13, 2026). The visit, led by the Rector of Hamzanwadi University, Dr. Hj. Sitti Rohmi Djalilah, was a continuation of a series of academic diplomacy activities following a previous visit to Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM).

During the visit, the Rector was accompanied by the Director of Cooperation and International Relations, Moh. Farid Zaini, M.B.A., and the Director of Research and Community Service, Dr. Shahibul Ahyan, M.Pd. The meeting was warm and productive, with discussions on various opportunities for collaboration between the two universities.

The focus of the discussion included collaboration in education, research, international scientific publications, community service, lecturer and student exchanges, and the development of academic programs oriented towards global standards.

Hamzanwadi University Rector, Dr. Hj. Sitti Rohmi Djalilah emphasized that internationalization is a crucial step in improving the quality of higher education. She stated that partnerships with reputable universities like UKM will open up more opportunities for lecturers and students to develop competencies, broaden their academic experience, and strengthen their competitiveness internationally.

Meanwhile, the Director of Cooperation and International Relations, Moh. Farid Zaini, M.B.A., explained that this visit is part of Hamzanwadi University's strategy to expand its network with leading universities in Southeast Asia. He hopes that the collaboration will not stop at formal agreements but can be realized through various collaborative programs that provide tangible benefits for both institutions.

Through the visits to UPM and UKM, Hamzanwadi University further affirms its commitment to providing superior, innovative, and globally competitive higher education through sustainable academic collaboration.
