Selong — The Fakultas Bahasa, Seni, dan Humaniora (FBSH), or Faculty of Language, Arts, and Humanities, at Universitas Hamzanwadi executed its 3rd Wave Graduation Procession (Yudisium) for the 2024/2025 Academic Year on Tuesday (October 28) at the Universitas Hamzanwadi Hall. A total of 97 students from four study programs were officially graduated during the event.
The graduation participants consisted of: 10 students from the Indonesian Language and Literature Education Study Program, 42 students from the English Language Education Study Program, 12 students from the Performing Arts Education Study Program, and 32 students from the Tourism Study Program.
The event was attended by the Dean of FBSH along with the Study Program Coordinators from each department. The procession was solemn and filled with pride for all participants who had completed their academic journey at the Faculty of Language, Arts, and Humanities.
In his welcoming speech, the Dean of FBSH, Dr. Jaelani Alpansauri, M.Pd., conveyed his appreciation and a message to the graduates to interpret their bachelor's degree as a mandate and a moral responsibility.
"The title that you hold today carries a great responsibility. Use it as preparation to achieve a better future. I hope all students can continue their education to a higher level, even to achieving the title of professor," he revealed.
This Yudisium marks the end of the students' struggle in college and the beginning of a new journey as graduates ready to contribute to society. The Faculty hopes that FBSH scholars are able to carry the spirit of intellectualism, creativity, and noble character (akhlak mulia) in accordance with Universitas Hamzanwadi's vision as a "santri" (Islamic boarding school) campus and an inclusive campus.
