FIP Holds Public Lecture and Practitioners Teach Physical Education Research
The Public Lecture of the Faculty of Education, Hamzanwadi University took place on Wednesday, May 28, 2025 at the Hall of Hamzanwadi University, which was attended by the Team of the Faculty of Sports and Health Sciences, Deputy Dean of FIP, Coordinator of Study Programs, Lecturers, and Physical Education Students.
At the opening ceremony, the Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Education, Hamzanwadi University, Dr. Lalu Parhanuddin, M.Pd. in his speech expressed his deep appreciation for the achievements of the Physical Education study program and this activity as an initiation to develop the competence of Lecturers and Students in designing research according to their scientific fields. "The Physical Education Study Program has shown good progress in creating a climate for developing education and teaching, research, and developing human resources in the field of sports, and I really appreciate this activity in an effort to create innovations in sports research to improve the competence of Lecturers and Students".
Public lecture entitled "Innovation and Challenges in Physical Education Research" which was combined with the signing of a cooperation agreement between the Faculty of Education, Hamzanwadi University and the Faculty of Sports and Health Sciences, Surabaya State University in order to strengthen collaboration in the implementation of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education.
In addition to the public lecture activity delivered by Dr. Heryanto Nur Muhammad, S.Pd., M.Pd. as the Coordinator of the Doctoral Program in Physical Education, Surabaya State University, this activity was also combined with a teaching practitioner activity on Measurement Tests by Dr. Sapto Wibowo, S.Pd., M.Pd. who is a Lecturer at FIKK, Surabaya State University.
The holding of the public lecture combined with the signing of this cooperation is a strategic momentum to strengthen the synergy between the Faculty of Education, Hamzanwadi University and the Faculty of Sports and Health Sciences, Surabaya State University in producing superior and competitive generations.
