Mataram – Hamzanwadi University has once again achieved a proud achievement in the arts. Four students from the Performing Arts Education Study Program, Faculty of Languages, Arts, and Humanities (FBSH), won first place at the Regional Student Arts Week (PEKSIMIDA).

This achievement means the four students will represent West Nusa Tenggara Province at the National Student Arts Week (PEKSIMINAS). This achievement is a source of pride for the Hamzanwadi University academic community.

This success also strengthens Hamzanwadi University's position as a higher education institution that consistently fosters student talent. The university continues to encourage achievements at the regional, national, and international levels.

Students who brought honor to the university were Muhammad Ridho Nawawi, who won first place in the Men's Pop Song category. Muhammad Angga Restu won first place in the Men's Keroncong Song category. Meanwhile, Olga Natasya Febrianti won first place in the Women's Keroncong Song category. In the Dance Competition, Tazkirani and her team won first place and qualified for the national level.

The Head of the Performing Arts Education Study Program at Hamzanwadi University, Alwan Hafiz, expressed his gratitude and appreciation for the students' achievements. He stated that this success stems from a continuous coaching process.

He stated that this achievement is the result of the students' hard work, discipline during practice, and intensive guidance from their supervisors. This synergy is key to their success in the competition.

"Alhamdulillah (Praise be to God), this achievement is a source of pride for the Performing Arts Education Study Program, the Faculty of Languages, Arts, and Humanities, and Hamzanwadi University as a whole," said Alwan Hafiz on Friday (July 17th).

According to Alwan, this achievement demonstrates the students' strong abilities and competitiveness in the arts. He hopes the delegates will continue to improve the quality of their performances in the lead-up to PEKSIMINAS.

"We hope they will maintain their enthusiasm for practice, refine their preparations, and perform optimally at PEKSIMINAS, thereby bringing honor to Hamzanwadi University and West Nusa Tenggara," he continued.

Alwan added that this success is inseparable from the study program's commitment to nurturing student potential. Training, mentoring, and various arts activities are continuously strengthened.

He believes that PEKSIMIDA is not just a competition, but also a learning space to hone skills, build self-confidence, and expand networks among arts students from various universities.

He hopes this experience will provide valuable resources for students to develop as artists, educators, and cultural practitioners capable of making a real contribution to society.
