Selong – Hamzanwadi University's commitment to supporting achievement development is not only demonstrated through student development, but also by providing opportunities for lecturers and educational staff (tendik) to participate in prestigious sporting events. This is evidenced by the participation of several Hamzanwadi University academics as athletes in the 2026 NTB Provincial Sports Week (Porprov) XII, organized by the Indonesian National Sports Committee (KONI) of West Nusa Tenggara, from July 16–26, 2026.

Three Hamzanwadi University representatives are strengthening the East Lombok contingent in different sports. They are Dr. Suhartiwi, M.Pd., a lecturer in the Guidance and Counseling Study Program, competing in the Women's 50-meter Barebow Archery category; Dr. Nurun Sholeh, M.Si., a lecturer in the Sociology Education Study Program, competing in the Chess category Standard Veteran; and Rahman Sultan, S.Kom, an academic staff member from the Faculty of Medicine, who competed in the E-Football Console Esports event.

The participation of these lecturers and staff reflects Hamzanwadi University's commitment to building a culture of achievement that involves the entire academic community. The campus not only encourages students to compete but also provides support to lecturers and staff to continue developing their potential and becoming role models in both academic and non-academic fields.

The 2026 NTB XII Provincial Sports Week (Porprov XII) was attended by approximately 5,000 athletes from all regencies and cities in West Nusa Tenggara. Competitions were held in various regions, with Mataram City hosting the largest number of events, while East Lombok hosted three sports.

The participation of Hamzanwadi University's academic community in this event is expected to inspire the entire campus community to continue developing their potential, upholding sportsmanship, and bringing honor to the institution through various achievements. This participation also serves as proof that the spirit of competition, collaboration, and dedication can grow in every element of Hamzanwadi University, including students, lecturers, and educational staff.
